Automatic Filing Extension Due to The California Storms in most Counties

Any taxpayer who resides in, or whose principal place of business is located in, any of the affected California counties is granted an automatic extension of time to file and pay most types of federal and California tax obligations until October 16, 2023. These taxpayers do not have to be directly affected by the storms.
All counties in California are listed as affected counties except: Imperial, Kern, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, and Sierra. *Out of State returns do not apply*
Our Tax Organizer will assist you in collecting and reporting information necessary for us to prepare your income tax returns. If you are an existing client, you should have recently received your tax organizer by way of your SmartVault portal, or by regular mail.
Please send us your tax information as soon as possible either by mail, fax or via your SmartVault account. We must be in receipt of all your tax information by September 1st, 2023. We also must be in possession of your signed Tax Engagement Letter and the filled-out Tax Questionnaire before any work commences.
